Giver vs. Taker

Category: Journal

After reading a very inspirational article by Jeff Starr called Lessons Learned After 5 Years of Blogging. I have gained insight that success isn’t reached with joining the mainstream bloggers and sellers online and write diluted topics about what we “think” we ought to be writing about. True inspiration thrives from deep within our creative souls, and we would be committing a great disservice to the online community by not sharing our creative prowess with the rest of the world. By being a giver success will naturally come.

So it seems now that I will begin this blog by writing about what purely satiates my design desires while others simply click, nod, and move on. As MindtoMedium gains valuable viewers, perhaps I will then write about what works for the community of followers, but still keep it real with topics I get to vent about.

True, I may write about many topics tangible to mainstream, but it will always be geared towards something new that will enrich the lives of real design nerds. It is my quest to nurture the creative soul and give more of my experiences with the visual world. Thanks for reading. Are you there? Good.
